March '12 - Bappaditya's 260 L Planted Aquarium. (India)

Owner:Bappaditya Mukhopadhyay, from Gurgaon, India.
Setup:November 2009.
Dimensions:122x46x46 cm.
Volume: 260 L (nominal).
Filtration:Eheim 2213 and Aquael.
Lighting:4x55 W T5 HO.
Substrate:ADA Amazonia II.
Others:Pressurized CO2, 4 bps.
Maintenance:ADA Brighty K, Green Gain and ECA.
Fauna:Dwarf cichlids, tetras and plenty of red crystal shrimp.
Flora:Rotala rotundifolia, Java moss, Rotala wallichii, Echinodorus tenellus, Pogostemon gayi, stargrass, dwarf hairgrass and various other plants that have survived over the years.
Comments:It took me 4 hours to finish initial planting. For a successful planted tank one needs sufficient light (at least 0.8 Watts per liter), constant CO2 supply, good soil, great patience and enormous luck!
