I have two Venustus cichlids in a 150 liter tank on my desk in my office. My printer was malfunctioning, and the top was opened while it was printing. Why this happened I do not know, but one glass wall of the tank collapsed and broke. My female Venustus fell into the open top of the printer! (The tank was next to it). Somehow, the printer kept printing and the fish came out covered in ink with many scales ripped off. Of course, she was dead. I rescued my other male venustus from the floor and put him in a big glass bowl of water from the cafeteria at my work. I do think that that was a very starnge way to go for my poor cichlid!
