Beautiful and very bright fish, gorgeous in the tank in a small school. Should be kept as one male in a school with many females. Like all anthias, they can change sex throughout their life. If the dominant male dies, the largest female will usually turn male and take his place. Drawbacks are that they need frequent feeding and are often picky eaters, sometimes causing nitrate spikes in the reef aquarium.

This is a beautiful fish. I have a school of 8 in a 760 L fish only tank. These fish are good for beginners. As for their eating habits, I heard they can be quite picky, but mine seem to love marine flake and do just fine. Great for the fish only tank, but not reef.
