Like all tangs, the Mimic's diet should include dried algae if natural growth is insufficient. The Mimic is peaceful and has flowing silk-like fins in contrast to the typical tang stiffness. The soft yellows of the juvenile makes a beautiful addition to any tank. The yellow eventually gives way to a dirty transition into the darker blues of adulthood, which are truly drab in comparison to the colors of the juvenile.
