If you have plant eaters or destructive onivores like silver dollars, this plant won't last long. The soft leaves make it a favorite among my fishes. A few days after getting it home, it was devastated. It still produces new leaves, but older leaves and those that get slightly big become dinner. Overall, very good plant IMO, since it does provide my fish with proper vegetation diet.
