I have had a crayfish for a few days in a tank on its own. I put a mossball into the tank for decoration and found that the mossball moves everyday, I watched the crayfish for ages and watched it push the mossball around. It likes to move plants and ornaments around so if you like to keep plants in the same place then put very heavy weights on them.
