They are beautiful! When confident, they exhibit colours similar to the bumblebee gobies. However, I find them very sensitive and die easily. Also, they are not as efficient algae eaters as the Yamato (Amano) shrimp. I had about 10 of them about 6 months ago and only 1 is surviving now. Talking about it, I have not seen it for a few days!

I have about 6 of these guys in a 200 L tank. Two of them hang out on the lip of my biowheel filter, where a ton of algae grows. The others I can see buzzing around the tank every once in a while. They are pretty neat shrimp and they stay at a small size, easy to take care of.
