I just got one of these a couple of months ago. Even as a baby it's very active and responsive. It won't eat any pellet food or cichlid food, which is a hassle. I've tried feeding it many different types and it's not interested. It's in a 110 L tank for now with a small pleco, salvini, and female convict. The pike will only eat brine shrimp and live guppies. Probably would eat krill too, but I haven't tried. It seems this fish is always happy to see me because I might give it food. It's very aggressive, but the salvini and convict seem to be growing faster because the pike won't eat pellets. I'm hoping with time it will start eating the pellet food.
