Who told you to raise you gravity to 1.028?

1.023-1.024 is a good specific gravity at a temp of 82F. 1.021-1.024 is ideal. Keep this number pretty steady. Movement in this number is stressful to your fish.

don't change it 1.024 is in the ideal range.

Zero0 I would consider lowering yours a bit

1.021-1.025 is the ideal range
