Hello,

My LFS is selling a product called Chemi-Pure which claims that salt water tanks will need no water changes if it is used. I can only guess it removes dissolved organic matters, and all the bad stuffs in the water like ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. It claims

I never used chemi pure but the best thing for the tank is water changes. Not only do nutrients build up but there are elements added to fresh mixed saltwater that corals, inverts, and certain plants use up. Water changes replace these elements, remove undisolved organics, and reduce nitrates. Water changes shouldnt really be replaced.
