Hi there,

I got a 37g (it's a high tank that is very suitable for angels), and I' think I'll go for a heavily planted Angle & Ram tank. I know I want a pair of rams and a pair of angles (these are all minimum numbers).

What other fish can I put in there (the more color the better).

If you are going to get a pair of each make sure they are a breeding pair. Even then there may not be enough territory for them. I would stick to 4 angels and a school of some type of tetra. Like 10 cardinals or something of that size and shape. Maybe a fancy pleco or some type of algae eater.

Do you think that 4 angels would mind a group (at least 2 fish) of Rosy barbs?

Rosy barbs are schooling fish---as in a group of six.

They also get around 6 inches long, and need a longer, rather than taller, tank.

If you like barbs, why not some cherry barbs? Smile

The store here got a batch of Rosy Barbs, they just have amazing colors, I've never seen such brightly colored barbs before. That was the reason for me wanting Rosy barbs.

MY problem with the angel tank, is that I'm looking for a group of fish that would have strong coloration (again where the rosy barbs fit). If you have any other suggestion, like a colorful Tetra (besides neons or cardinals) I'd be happy to hear.
