I've got one of those nutrifin plant-grow systems for my 10gallon tank, which is perfect. I rather not spend the 7 bucks for 3 extra packets of yeast and baking soda. Does anybody make their own mixture for use in the plant-gro system, if so, how much of yeast and/or baking soda do you use?

Sugar as directed, 1/4 teaspoon bread yeast, 1 teaspoon baking soda

Luke warm water, not too warm, and I rehydrate the yeast in a cup of water before adding to the bottle.
