Great, I'm doomed. My husband is going to kill me if I drag home any more tanks! I've already promised my son and daughter that they can have the empty 10g when we can find room for it. I figure there is no reason for me to suffer alone. LOL

Jen,
Check out this site..... lots of helpful links/info you may want to read before you start fertilizing.

For your nitrAtes you can try looking in hydroponic stores for KNO3....the above site has links to a few. I don't recall the name of the stump remover although a search of this site should bring it up. I believe Green Light is one of the brands..... still do a search with "stump remover" as the key word and use Steve Hampton as the author.... that will narrow it down and Steve knows his stuff.

I was able to find Potassium Nitrate for $1/lb at the local feed store. Even in suburbia, you are never very far from horses and cattle and farmers. Check your phone book for Feed Stores.
