I'm kind of down today--one of favorite fish died Sunday. When I first started my aquarium I bought three albino corys as starter fish--and they've stayed with me through thick and thin--so I've become attached to these three guys. Now I'm down to two. I checked my records and I had had this fish for just over three years. Is that old for a cory?

I don't know what to think because my others are acting just fine.

Anyway--just wanted to get some stats on the longevity of cories from anyone who has kept this fish before.

Thanks

After three years you can be reasonalby sure it isn't due to poor care. You never know how old fish are when you get them as well.
Sickness, incorrect care or food, overcrowding can shorten a fishes life span. Three eyars is short for a cory but I would say reasoable when the origins are unknown.

I know people who go through fish much faster than that, so I would say three years is a good achievement...
