Would you consider hornwort to be under the category of "easy" to grow? I'm not much of an experienced planter, I'm just starting to really get into having a planted tank (Right now I've just got Java Moss, Java Fern, Aponogeton, and Ulvaceus). I don't have any c02 supply and I have great lighting. Would hornwort grow under these conditions? Are there any useful sites with information about hornwort? Thanks-

Ryan,

It is pretty much impossible to kill this stuff....I have rather low lighting, 1 watt per gallon, and I pull out foot long strands of hornwort from my tanks weekly....

Yes initially. I don't have hornwort, so I don't know if they are easy or not...

Depends if it is in fact Hornwort. There are quite a few species out there that are similar to Hornwort. Some are hard to keep unless in high light and some are easy to keep. Ambulia is one that looks similar (well thats what they sell it as).

Ryan,

Just wondering? "Java fern is like, impossible to kill!"
I am most interested in your methods maintaining Java Fern? Please explain and expand so we may all learn from your experience(s).

Best regards,

William
