| Have any of you guys tried those plant bulbs where you just drop them into the tank and they grow in a couple weeks? I've had lots of luck with them, I've gotten them at wal-mart but they only have two kinds of plants. I was wondering if you guys know where about I could find more plants as bulbs online? Thanks. |

| Yes! That's them. But is aponogeton the only plant I can get as a bulb? |

Ryan~
I am so glad to hear that those had worked for you. I had put a cpl in my tank, and they never amounted to much...my fish kept eating any growth that would appear _________________ I want to wrap it up, and swim in it until I drown

I'm sorry to hear that Dylacat These plants thrive really well in my aquarium. They grow all the way to the surface and spread out thru most of the surface of the water. Very pretty! They even will die off for a bit, then grow back again. On the back of the package they say if any of the bulbs don't grow you can send them back and can get new ones. |

They sell those at Walmart?!?!?! I've been looking for them around here, but can't find any.
How much are they? I read that most of them aren't particular about lighting. Plus, they look good.
Also, I also read that if the stop growing("Die") you can put them in the fridge or something and let them rest, then plant them again after 30 days or so. But honestly, I'd keep them in the tank...lol

I had read that on the back of the package, but I had doubted that they would have taken them back with large bites taken out of the bulb .
It might have been a good laugh for them, though. _________________ I want to wrap it up, and swim in it until I drown

THey're around $3 per package of 4 or 5. They grow pretty easily, but without enough light, they'll degrade after reaching a certain point. |

I have a few pics of these plants.
Here's them. Grown all the way to the surface and they are awesome looking! -
And here are the bulbs. The two in the middle are new, I just put them in 2 days ago, and there are already sprouts (you can't see them in the pic tho) But you can see the other ones, a small bulb grows a long way -
