I'd be wary of mixing them---pictus cats tend to be active, and those long whiskers just beg to be nipped on....

Update, no nipping as of yet. The tiger barbs seems to leave him alone, as opposed to my other betta, when I introduced him...the barbs ganged up on him!

PLEASE tell me you don't have a betta with tiger barbs!

You may as well use him as a lure for fishing!

No, I just tried doing that. I thougth that since I have many tiger barbs, they won't even notice the betta. The betta was pulled out the moment the tiger barbs were ganging up on him. Apparently, tiger barbs can't help to nip on anything veil tail.

And oh, the pictus is still fine, after 18 hours..no aggresion from the tiger barbs. I'm still observing though.
