Can anyone tell me what household items contain Ammonia that I can use to help cycle a tank.

uhm... ammonia... I highly suggest not using any other "household items" otherwise.. unless you mean organic things. people say use shrimp, or flake food which will rot.

trying searching the forum... or even aquahobby.com itself...

You didn't list where you live. In the you.S., you general can pick up ammonia by the bottle in your local grocery store. Only pick up pure ammonia. Nothing scent or "fixed". If you shake it and it suds don't get it. I bought a quite large bottle for about a dollar. From what I've read here, if you live in the you.K. you might have more trouble getting it. Good luck. I do suggest reading up on fishless cycling if you haven't aready. A quick search in the forums would prove quite useful.
