Hello from a newbie! I don;t know much about fish keeping, but this I do know!

One litre is 1 kg, or 1000g of water

1 gram is 1000 milligrams

So 1 litre is 1000x1000, equals 1,000,000 milligrams of water

So 1mg is a millionth of a litre

So, in water, 1mg/L is 1ppm

Cheers!
