wow. OK back to the topic at hand. to create a plenium could I just put a under gravel filter plate. then a 1inch lair of crushed coral, then a screen. then 1inch of arginite, then 1inch of live sand. also I will be able to keep almost anything exept maxima clams in the 32g right? also if I have the cash I will add another 55watt light. thanks for all your help I think I have my plan finished now!

Don't bother with a fourth 55 if you have that type of money pickup a single Metal halide from http://www.hellolights.com

I'd go with the screen idea The old Salt mentioned. I think the UGF idea might become an eyesore and it wouldn't sit evenly.

I am very tempted to just get a 60g tank 24x24x24. a metal hilade bulb. a 10g refugium. the prizm skimmer with a plenium/berlin hybrid. the reason I am tempted is so that I could get a yellow tang, a pair of clowns and severl other small fish. so I will either go with the 32g setup or the 60g setup. now I am going to bed cause I am really tired!

Yellow tangs need a lot of runway. They prefer a longer tank over a taller or deeper tank. There is a 48" Long x 15" Wide x 18" Tall 60 gallon out there that would be perfect. I wish I would have seen that tank before I got my 55.

well I will try to do the 60g but if I am able to get some good luck somthing else might happen. the fun thing is that my dad want to build a big avariy when we go to australia. if I am lucky I might be able to turn that avary into small aveiry and a get him to help setup a 4x4x4 foot reef with a sustainible pelenium and one 400watt metal hilade to lighten things up! hey a kids gotta dream! Very Happy
