What type of clown where you planning on?
The shortnose might eat a smaller one like the Ocellaris or Percula.
A larger clown like the maroon or the tomato would work. _________________ Don't buy the fish before you know the fish. |

That's an Ocellaris
Are these all for the 20 gallon? If so:
The French Angel Grows to 15 inches so there's NO WAY you can keep it. Unless you plan on taking a juvinile back and buying a new one every 2 months <----Not a good idea.
The other three fish would survive in a 20 gallon but not together. There all territorial and would no appreciate being in close quarters like that.
The Royal Gramma is not a beginners fish and I highly do not recommend you getting one. They don't do well in aquariums.
If this is for the 20 gallon you where talking about you need to do some more research on your fish.[/b] _________________ Don't buy the fish before you know the fish. |

20G Long saltwater Fish only recommendations(with some live rock, sand bottom):
Remember Saltwater Carries less oxygen than fresh and Saltwater fish require large territories even the very small saltwater fish.
If you have to have a small tank and your new to the hobby this is what I can recommend:
Idea #1
2 Tank Raised mated pair Ocellaris Clowns
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
Idea #2 ( Have this combo in my 55 they never bother each other)
1 Purple Pseudochromis
1 Blue Devil Damsel
1 Golden Neon Goby
The stiking color differances in this combo will make for a very colorful tank.
Idea #3
An Angler Tank One nice size angler makes a very interesting fish
Idea #4
1 Sharpnosed puffer
Maybe one other small fish(small Damsel or Pseudocromis)
A firm lid is always good. Especially with Blennies and Gobies they like to jump. _________________ Don't buy the fish before you know the fish. |

Hi Enrique
Welcome to the forum. Just as a note I put a compatability chart in your other post check it out.
Tell us what size tank you are talking about. If your main fish is a puffer consider it a fairly aggressive tank.
Sos
Not to jump the gun but he never mentioned what size tank he is considering getting. Just because he said ocellerous clown doesn't mean its a 20 gall. Heck I got mine in a 75 gallon. |

in the equipment section you have a 20 gall and a 60 gall are you going to use both for saltwater? The clown and royal gramma would work in either tank, french angel gets to big for both and needs at least 100 gallons. Maby if you have access to types of dwarf angels but even then just one species per tank. The sharpnose puffers need at least 50 gallons and semi aggressive I don't think you need to worry about it eating other fish but crusteaceans and clams it will eat. don't forget puffers need those hard shells to help file its beak. |

OK boy did I read that wrong sorry to say this but I would just stick with the smaller fish. The puffer and the french angel gets way to big. But where your lacking on fish like that you can make up for in corals I would say. |
