Hi all,

In celebration of my four new additions I decided to post a new picture which I took of my tank. For those who remember my post on the old board, my tank has grown out a lot since then, and then kinda died out due to neglection, and now its growing back again with algae problems which I'm still trying to control.

Well today I added 4 Tiger barbs to the pack to try and get my existing 4 to stop hiding all the time Sad So far it only worked for one of them, the other 3 still hides all the time. You can see the new additions in the picture, they're the small ones with the least amount of colours in the center. Neither of them have their orange nose and body yet but hopefully given time they grow to be as vibrant as my existing 4.

Hope yous like it Laughing

PS. The tank looks a lot cleaner in the pic than what it really is.

Very nice, it looks like a forest in the backgorund. Once the Hairgrass spreads it will look like you have a meadow next to a forest. You have a diy CO2 reactor in the back right corner, correct? I have been wanting to make one of that design for my tank.

I do remember your tank, it's the driftwood Smile . Nice to see it has developed like it has, very nice looking tank, I'm sure your fish love it. Shame about your tiger barbs, hope they come out soon. Keep it up Smile .

Hehe yep its the tank with the driftwood.

SLACKra, my filter is the Ehiem 2213, my heater I have no idea but I keep my tank at 25 degrees, and I use a DIY CO2 system which uses a Rio 600 for the reactor. The fishes I have are 8 Tiger Barbs and 6 Glowlights. Plants are a mixture of some sort of Hygro which I can't remem the name of (on the left side of the picture) and Sunset Hygro (on the right), an Anubias Nana on the log and Brazilian Micro Sword in the foreground. I know it doesn't really look like the one shown on this site but thats because I don't have enough lighting for it to grow good enough but it has started to spread tho (after like 5 months of getting it Sad ) so it will take another 10 years for it to become a grassy meadow Smile I only have 2 * 20 watts fluro lights and the tank is a 20G.
