Can you keep them in a fish only tank? (by critters I mean shrimps, crabs etc...) Please let me know... In a 80Gal tank with yellow tank, powder blue tang, chromis and clowns

Some you can, some you can't. It depends on the species and the tankmates.
In your case, you can probably keep some shrimps or small hermit crabs without too much trouble.

Bear in mind that the minute you have inverts in the tank, it is no longer fish-only. That changes everything.

I have a kole tang, chromises, and clowns and I have no prooblems keeping shrimp, crab, snails, feather dusters and so on.
