I am debating on getting a sea clone or a prizm. Any suggestions as to which one to get?

I have never used the sea clone but I am using a prizm skimmer. they are a good skimmer not the best but good. they are a hang on skimmer which is easy to install and start. it creates its own bubbles so you don't have to buy new bublers. thats all I can say about the prizm skimmer.

what size tank do you have?

I wouldn't use the prizm on anything bigger than a 55. I have my prizm on a 55 and it does an OK job.

PRISM! PRISM! PRISM!

The SeaClone is one of the most disappointing pieces of junk ever made. Even after it was remodeled and re-released, it still can't compare to a Prism.

Thank you, yeah the only downside to the prizm was that it sounded a little louder. It's also gonna save me 30 bucks (canadian, so that's more like 4 american dollars lol)

I never had a seaclone so I can't say whether I like them or not. I do have a prizm though its a little noisy but for its price range I'm happy with it, it does the job and I have mine on a 75 gall.
