I just got my Solar Hood, it's only 8" wide, but my tank is 13"! So, I need to make a canopy to fit inside or hav one custom made..because I'm planning on having Hatchetfish (tendency to jump)! Anyone know how to make one, I was thinking of just using a glass cover..but I want something more presentable... Confused

just make one out of wood 1/2 thickthat will fit just out side of the rim and put a little wood ring around the inside of the hoodso it can sit on the edges of the tank then your solar hood you could atach it to the inside if you do make shure you make the canopy tall enough or you could cut a hole in the tope for the light to shine through
