I got a new firemouth yesterday from local pet store and basicall what happened is it didn't eat. I tried to feed him cichlids sticks and flakes. it didn't eat today he was swimming fine but he was bumping into things as if its blind. I tested his blindness but its not that because it was getting scared of my fish net. now I dug a cave for it and it went in and slept like we do. I mean horizontally. please can any one help me with this. my ammonia level is 0.25 ppm. thanks please help

| He's in your 40L? Your tank might be a bit small...what other fish do you have in the tank...? I assume your tank is cycled...did you add some aquarium salt to reduce stress? |
