Hey all,
I am thinking about starting a south/central american ciclid tank which will be fully planted with a sandy bottom. Since it hasn't happened yet, I have decided not to include tank dimensions. I realize there are a lot of what if type posts but mine is a little different so I figured it is OK. Anyway, I want: 1 convict ciclid, 1 green severum,, 1 texas ciclid. These fish are all juveniles, I have scoped them out. What does everybody think of this combo, can anybody give me alternate suggestions for this mix? What sized tank should I plan for on this one? Thanks a lot. |

Well, I have a Severum with a Convict (among others). They are both about the size of a quarter and the Severum is very quick. So when the convict chases him, hes okay. They don't always chase though, just when I get near the tank mostly. Now as for later in life they may need to be separated, especially if you were to get another convict. All I am sure of is that better be a big tank! _________________ "Workin' hard sometimes can help ya' maintain..." |
