Well, OK - it's true, there are worse things.

But I'd argue there are things worse than, say, a generation of uneducated children. Possibly all teachers and professors should quit their job and get to work fighting hunger and curing cancer. Then again ... maybe not.


Basically: it doesn't hurt the campaign to stop greater evils when people fight to stop a lesser one. I don't think energy is ever wasted on the cause of bettering the world, in however small a way.

Jeesh, what an instigator

I must say I completely agree with you, LM. - Change happens in minute increments and has a culmulative effect.

Brennus- If the cruelty of dying fish, which can invlove dipping them in acid, doesn't get to you so much there is still a practical way to look at it- dyed and 'color dipped' fish live significantly shorter lives than they would otherwise. In the end, this means you'll be spending more money to keep that school of cories in your tank.

Anyway, that's another way to look at it.
