Here, we're starting a list of remedies for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH, dGH and diseases. Everyone is welcome to add and read, just please try to add what it does, its name and its general price(in your opinion).

AmQuel: Reduces Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. It doesn't change the pH and is really good at removing all designated chemicals. It generally costs about $6.00 for 4 fl .oz.

In my opinion, I prefer doing things the more natural way, instead of adding a whole bunch of chemicals, which in time, will probably kill your fish.

For example - To buffer pH use tufa rock or crushed coral, to get rid of nitrites & ammonia, just lots of water changes.

This method is so much easier and more cost effective, and I think a lot of people on this forum will agree.

As for disease, I recommend melafix, it cures just about any problems your fish might have. Here MelaFix costs around
