| I have 2- 10 gal aquariums I just bought that have incandescent hoods. Is it possible to use the screw-in bulb shaped flourescents used in home lighting fixtures. They fit OK. And are only rated at 13 watt. 60watt equivelent. Like the bulbs at Home Depot. |

it depends on what you like and what you want to do w/ the tanks...

| That is what I have done with my incandesent hood. I like the look of the flourescent bulbs much better. |
