I took back the Golden Wonder Killfish Sad and was wondering, is it okay for me to get one or two new dwarf gouramis Very Happy ? I have a ten gallon tank with 5 zebra danios which are peaceful. Right now, the tank is cycling, but is coming to the end. Cool

I love gouramis. 2 dwarfs of an kind would be OK in a 10 gallon. They get about 2 inches max. I have 6 4" in a 34 Very Happy

I would suggest waiting until your tank is fully done cycling before adding more fish.

generally, mail anabantoids fight frequently. Depending on the species, these fights may or may not be fatal. Mail dwarf gourami (colisa lalia) will display magnificent colors when fighting or spawning but provide planty of hiding places (plants) for the weaker sparing partner to catch a breath or he/she will suffer from prolonged bullying.
Good luck,
nukri

I just got a new Flame Dwarf Goiurami. At first, he didn't do anything, but now he hides, does laps around the tank, plays in my bubble stream, or just hangs out in the front of the tank. He's really peaceful to the other tankmates and they don't bother him. He doesn't eat much, but that's noramal for a new tankmate. Thanks for all your advice. Cool
