can anyone help with my snail problem ? I inherited snails with live plants (which have now been replaced with plastic) and have a real problem with them I tried a chem treatment which resulted in loss of my neons and a guppy !! doses were to low to kill snails but too high for neons! is there a community fish that will eat them ?

or a safe way to do it myself?

may thanks matt

One thing that you can do, is put a small plate on the bottom of your tank and put a piece of cucumber on it. Wait over night and by morning there should be a bunch of snails on the plate and you can just remove the plate and get rid of the snails. Hope that helps.

Before I would recommend loaches, I have one question. What size of tank that you have?
