|

Earlier, I posted a message about apple snails and whether they cause problems in your tank or not. I just hav a couple more questions.
1. Will my dwarf african frog eat the snail? I know if they get lucky and a weak fish drifts too close to the bottom, they'll eat the fish without hesitation.
2. Are apple snails sensative to medication for fish deseases? I know some inveratbrates are.
Help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks! _________________ :D |

For your first question, a simple rule is if an animal can fit into another animals mouth, that's where it will generally end up. But, if you keep the frogs well fed, they might not eat the snails anyway.
The answer to your second question is yes. Most invertebrates are sensitive to medication, so you will want to chek with your lfs if the mediation you need is Apple Snail-safe. _________________ Gotta love our little fine-finned friends. |
