I have a 29 gallon freshwater tank with the following inhabitants:
4 Blue Gourmias
2 Plecos
7 Zebra Danios
1 Bronze Cory

I also have a whisper 30 filter.
I was wondering if I would be able to add 6 neon tetras. Would I be able to add it if I added a small Whisper 10 in-filter to help with the bioload?
Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't add any more, actually, I think you're a bit over stocked. I hope your gouramis are all getting along okay? By blue gouramis do you meen threespot, opaline or a dwarf variety?
You didn't say which kind of plec you have.

1 pleco alone especially if the common variety will more then outgrow your tank. What sex are your gourami's? You definitly seem over stocked to me so I would not suggest adding more fish into the mix. It will only stress everyone out even more.

The plecos are common plecos, and once they get a little bigger I am going to get rid of them. A lfs says they will give store credit for them. I have 1 male and 3 female Three Spot Gourmias. One of the females is like a third of the size of the others and sits in the back of the tank running against the glass. I feel bad for it but the other ones that are three times the size of that one steal the food.

Blue gouramis will literally tear the tetras up.

kjh90-

Neons are probably a bad mix with your gouramis. It might be a bit different if you only had one, but with 4 other gouramis in the tank there are severe space issues which aren't going to favour adding any small fish.

I strongly suggest you get rid of 3 of the gouramis and the plecos ASAP.
