Just a quick question.. is cycling a FISH ONLY aquarium the same as cycling a freshwater? Is there anything different I should do? _________________

Well, you should definitely avoid fish cycling, IMO. I'd go with the "shrimp method". _________________ Kieron Dodds

oh! You don't have to worry about that with me. .lol I won't do cycling if it envolves anything live! I always do a fishless method.
Would the adding pure ammonia method work? Or is the shrimp method better? _________________

Ammonia dosing works (see my article on TR), but I prefer the "time release" methog of cycling with shrimp. Your choice really. _________________ Kieron Dodds
