I think you're really pushing your stocking levels too far man. A 55 gallon tank is OK for a few different new world cichlids if you're using them as centerpiece fish with some dithers for variety. Think more like 1 severum and some barbs or whatever. Or 1 parrotfish and some dithers. Maybe three or four firemouths and some dithers. But you can't comfortably fit two severums in that tank alone, let alone two severums and all that other stuff. Time to think a lot smaller dude, your future plans are a guaranteed disaster.

Think of it this way, the severums are going to end up about 1 foot big, no way are you going to fit two in there. The blood parrots are going to end up about 9 inches big, so you can't really fit two of them in a 48 inch tank either. That you want to put ALL those fish together is just not realistic

wow Confused Shocked well that might not be a good idea then....another thing I was thinking and might be cool would be to get maybe 6 angels and let them grow up young together then they might pair up and breed

in my 55 gallon I've got 1 dempsy and 2 convicts that breed all the time and a few silver dollers, everybody in my tank gets along pretty well with the expeption that the silver dollers think the convict fry are realy tasty,

I've actually seen several severum's with a ft diameter, and part fish at least 6" big. Firemouth's aren't that aggressive either, I'd watch the territory match-ups in your tank.
