Keep in mind that posting an aquarium here in the Photo Album is not the same as submitting for Tank of the Month. Anyone who wishes to participate in that section needs to make a specific submission for that by e-mail... _________________ Are you a Fish-HAVER or a Fish-KEEPER?

So what discus you got in there? I think I saw like 2 or 3 blue turquiose? and one marlboro red? and the yellowish one I'm guessing it's golden pigeon blood or golden star? and which one is the alpha discus? I believe your discus has got some pecking order right? I mean, it's a group and not a pair. heh... thanks for your answers in advance |

you have convinced me to submit my pic for the tank of the month. thank you everyone for all your comments. I hope they keep coming in.
there are 3 turquoise discus, 1 marlboro red and 1 pigeon blood. the biggest turqouise is the dominant fish. even though the pigeon blood is much larger. |

awesome, you should really send that as tank of the month. if I could vote, I'd definitely vote for you, coz' I definitely give props for a discus tank owner. it's not easy to keep the water parameters.
and I thought so that those are the kinds of discus ya got. you have really good looking marlboro and pigeon as well. and I believe the dominant turquiose is the one that we can see in the front right? and my guess was the pigeon to be the dominant. but he would'nt be where he is among the group swiming like that. so I was doubting that it is even though it was biggest so I guessed kind of right too about the dominant fish hehehe.
I guess my research and studies of this discus is not bad . I'm happy. I hope I can have a good tank like yours .
o yea, what do you feed them? I'm planing to make my own home made food. cook them, and grind them, and mix them and stuff. shrimp, turkey liver, green beans, and some more. heheh I forgot the recipe... so yea what do you feed them? and how long have you had them? |
