I am getting an RO system. Is there anything else that I should get besides just the system (like kits) to test the water for GH and KH? Or will the AP kits I already have suffice? This RO stuff is new to me. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not quite sure what you have, but if you have the master test kit with KH and GH, then you should be set up perfectly.

Thanks. I have the master kit and I got the KH/GH kit separately. I think that the RO system will just be easier for me overall. Once I get the right parameters, it should be the same thing every time.

Amen, there's nothing like controlling your parameters....(rather than letting them control you- read drive you mad Laughing)

Since I do not have any fish yet, I can take my time and do it right. When I get my cichlid tank this summer, I won't have to go through this because they just will love the high pH of my tap water.
