Very Happy I have a Penguin 330 on my 30 gal/Cory/Apple Sanil Tank.I've only had it for a few months, normally I have Emperor's,and Aquaclears. So far,I've been very pleased with the New Filter.I;m actually considering changing a few of the Aquaclears on Smaller tanks to one of these. Wink

I have one. Good that it restarts afer a power outage, but I find after a deep water change (8 to 10") I lose siphon and have to pour water in to help it restart. I like the biowheel and think it does great filtration, but it can lose some bio-slime into the tank so I do swish it out occasionally. If you keep the water level high it is quiet, but you do need to keep the impeller clean to keep it quiet. You can find, if you look very hard, a refillable clamshell type replacement for the cartridges so you can use cut-to-fit padding insead of the cartridges. These are made by Marineland, about $2.75, you need two, don't bother with the pads they sell for it, just get a big sheet of padding from a store.
