If you're like me and you always thought it was during the pre-web era of the internet, when the main online meeting points were the alt.aquaria newsgroups, think again!

That is a FANSTASTIC find Marcos!
There are a few tid bits I found interesting:
"We here in Denmark like to plant our tanks very densely." -- In the early 60's??
"on the "melting" of plant leaves, especially in Cryptocorynes." -- Some things never change.
"carbon dioxide aeration helps to eliminate algae." -- An observation I thought was more recently than that.
Again thank you very much. _________________ "... instead of considering what to say when they write, people now just let thoughts drool out onto the screen," - about e-mail

"DON'T, DON'T, DON'T shake the bottle containing the yeast-sugarwater mixture."
That is about the best quote I've seen related to aquascaping in a while.
But I confess, I'm a bottle-swirler (I use the jello recipe though, so that makes it OK.... right?). _________________ Maura |
