One of the girls who works in the gift shop used to work in a fish store in Flagstaff, and the owner and she were discussing saltwater. The owner heard her list of fish she liked, and told her, no way, you can NOT do that in a 10 gallon tank! Well, she tells me with a flip of her hair, you don't tell me I can't do something. So I did, and proved him wrong, and the fish and all lasted a good while, and I sold them to a dentist and as far as I know, they're all doing fine.
Her stock list in a 10 gallon tank?
A porcupine puffer
A sato puffer
An octopus
A queen angel
A percula clownfish
And a few hordes of hermit crabs and snails
I just nodded as she told me how you can't tell her what not to do, and privately thought, in this case, I won't tell you what an utter utter idiot you are, and what an utter utter idiot you take ME to be! _________________ But if you tame me, then we shall need each other....You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

Wow!! That was hilarious. That opening about the hair and teeth was a pretty good opening bit. _________________ "... instead of considering what to say when they write, people now just let thoughts drool out onto the screen," - about e-mail

"My Mom will be calling me for dinner soon, so I'd better wrap this up."
That just about destroys any hope this article was serious.

That's comedy... _________________ www.core.gudio.com/forums |

That one's easy...bring home a beautiful new PLANT instead, such as an Anubias or Crypt. You satisfy your urge for something new in the tank without compromising the stability and, as side effect, make your look even better and the existing fish will love your for it _________________ Are you a Fish-HAVER or a Fish-KEEPER?

HEY, now THAT my friend is an excellent idea!
As it is, I literally have to lie at least one or two nights a month, (saying I'm not home) so that I can have several hours to myself to do my mult-tank maintenance. People just do NOT understand how much work we do to keep them healthy & I get tired of explaining myself. I know I do not need more fish, just plants
And I need to do some SCUBA diving. because when you are fascinated with our fish friends, there is nothing quite so lovely.
Have you guys heard about Aurora the Octopus? She finally had her babies! YAY for Aurora. Here's a link to the story
