okay, quasi finalized... and it's an effective 68 gallon, but All-glass calls it a 65 and oceanic calls it a 70

1 coral beauty
3 Chromis (or 2 oc. clowns)
1 Banganii Cardinal
1 Gobie (an easy keeper, pink-spotted?)
2 pep. shrimp
10 turbo snails

40lbs of live rock...

the goal is to have roughly 3-4 gallons per inch of fish, I'm fairly new to marines so I want a hardy tank w/ a smaller bioload...

any suggestions are appreciated!

VERY understockded. good. makes it way easier for you and in the future you could add other fish. All the stock you have listed are compatable.

List looks good provided you're not talking about a mandarin goby. Actually its a dragonette if that IS what you're talking about. They need a lot more rock and a tank closer to a year old for a high enough pod population. In a 65/70 gallon tank which is what I have as well, you need to get closer to 130 lbs of rock. I'd say the minimum would be 100. That and around 65 lbs of live sand and you're set with just a good skimmer and some water movement.

doc,

nope, I don't think I'm ready for a mandarin, it's a pink-spotted watchman... or possibly a yellow watchman! Smile
