First, some classic kribs. I went to a fish auction a few weeks ago and a friend asked me to pick her up some good beginners cichlids that would do well in a planted tank. I picked up this pair and apparently I fed them too well. Smile Before I could give them to her this happened:

The lighting in the photo fades his color, but I like the angle:

Dad again...you can see the cloud of fry under him:
EDIT: Too many images, so this one is now a link

Then a blurry picture of the whole family:

Now some of my favorite...leleupi! Here's a recent shot of the parents guarding their newest batch of eggs:

Here's the 10 gallon tank holding the first batch of theirs I harvested (about a month ago.) I've got a middle batch still hopping in a 2.5 gallon between this batch and the ones they're guarding now. They can really produce some fish!

A little closer...

Even closer... I just love those they have a blue lining on them.

Not the best pictures because the lighting is really low in their tank, but I'm hoping you can kind of see the coloration of these mbuna. These are, to the best of my knowledge, Labidochromis "Zebra Lundo."

Female in front, male behind

The lab group shares the tank with a big breeding group of Sciaenochromis fryeri. Here's one of the males of that group:

Last but not least, I recently made an awesome fish swap with a guy on the west coast and part of that deal was a group of cherry shrimp. They've already taken over their small 10 gallon tank. Here's one of the adults:

Here's a female with a HUGE clutch of eggs. So much you can see movement inside the eggs.

Man, Cyradia.....awesome beyond words.

....you'd think as a writer I could come up with better description than that. Ah well. Razz If I come back as a fish, it needs to be in one of your tanks!
