I have a liner that doesn't cover the width of the hole in the ground.
I've looked at various seaming materials, but I'm skeptical. How reliable are they over the long term?
I'm almost tempted to fill in part of the width and increase the length to avoid seaming. |

Hi Matt,
I've built several ponds for clients and the seam sealers work O.K. but you have to follow the directions and be careful (unlike myself who often thinks of instructions as an afterthought ). Give yourself plenty of time and don't rush it. Particularily don't allow any dirt or water to get on the liner and wash off the talc if there is any. Also don't allow ANY wrinkles. If you develop a leak anyways you can get a patch product from a swimming pool supply store that will seal even under water (forget the name though).
Good luck! _________________ Think like a fish |
