Nice. What's that gravel covered thing in the background, near the middle and on the glass?

That gravel covered thing is a 'home made' surface skimmer. Gets rid of the surface film without disturbing the air/water interface so as not to lose CO2. It
hides the filter intake and return. It was made from an old 10gal light hood.

BTW, here's the setup...

46gal bowfront
Fluval 204 cannister filtration
30 watt striplight
96 watt quadtube
200 watt RenaCal submersible heater
CO2 diffuser
Flourite substrate with a little plain gravel overlay
2 cured pieces of cypress driftwood

I don't remember the names of all the plants, and have added some more just the other day, mostly red-hued species.

As far as residents...
1 pleco (my step-daughter calls her Princess) about 6" long
1 pictus cat (Cattie)
3 fruit tetras
9 neons
8 rasboras
1 gourami
2 zebra dans
2 leopard dans
2 black skirt tetras
1 lemon tetra (where'd he come from?)
3 swordtails
2 platys
4 otos
8-10 glass shrimp (1 with eggs)
All living happily ever after...

that is awesome that your glass shrimp has eggs, I have been currently thinking about getting some but didn't know if they would get along with all my community inhabitants, but I have been doing research and I think they will be OK, GOOD LUCK with the eggs!
