The Minister of the Environment of Turkey commanded that the scientific name of 3 forms have to be changed. The forms are:

Vulpes vulpes kurdistanica, the turkish subespecies of the da Red Fox, that must be called simply as Vulpes vulpes;

Ovis armeniana, a wild sheep, will be called as Ovis orientalis;

Capreolis capreolis armenius, a deer, will have its name changed to Capreolis capreolis capreolis.

All this because the names of these forms are related to Armenians and Kurds Confused
