Actually, bigger tanks are easier to care for since there is a much larger margin for error than small tanks.

Thats actuly exactly what I told him. But since I've learned to keep such a small tank balenced and stable for month, keeping a larger one won't be any trouble at all.

Well exept for lugging buckets of water up and down stairs, but thats not bad.

Get yourself a python and then you won't have to lug anything up and down the stairs. Smile It's based along the line of the waterbed changer and filler setup. brilliant for tanks over 30g.
