I've been looking for a site with good pictures of fish. I've come across a couple of forums that are galleries, but I'd like to find more. anyone know of any? _________________ morturi non cognant |

I'm not sure why I would ask someone for the link to this particular site, as I've been a member for quite some time and am pretty well familiar with the gallery. I'm looking for *other* sites with galleries. Thanks though. _________________ morturi non cognant |

Well, you'd be surprised at the number of people who spend lots of time here without ever noticing that this board is just one part of a much larger site
Anyway, the greatest online gallery in the world, even if the pictures often aren't that great, is http://www.fishbase.org
With over 28,000 species listed, even if only 10% have any photo they're still the largest photo gallery online _________________ Are you a Fish-HAVER or a Fish-KEEPER?

If you're like me and LOVE the rare stuff, you won't find a better site than Rayon Vert's from Japan. It's tough to maneuver through due to it being in Japanese, but you'll be rewarded with mostly great photos of fish species you'll be lucky to see in person once in your lifetime!

Thank you 2la for posting that link. Absolutely fabulous stuff, not only great photos but rare fish, obviously well cared for. (Biotoecus with wigglers, incredible). |
