lol I'm thinking of doing a cory tank with beach colored sand and some rocks and drift wood when I get that done I will have pics! Very Happy

nope, the 2 females are together in the tank but the 2 males and in seperated 1 gallon tanks with snails

the red male betta looks sick.. Shocked his fins shouldnt be frayed like that Confused

oh. some bettas (not the crowntails) develop a frayed tail if the water conditions are bad or if its stressed out. how do we tell if its a crowntail or a sick male betta at a pet shop? I don't think theres any way to Confused

well usually if its sick they don't flare, most pet stores sell the veil tail betta[the ones that sell for 2 - 3 dollars], those you arnt suppose to see edges on the tail, for more info on bettas theres this really good site that I did most my research at, www.bettatalk.com

I quit keeping male bettas.. for some reason they don't live as long. I've had a female thats 3 years old now.. and shes very healthy Cool so I think I'm gonna stick with female bettas.
