Try to put in the picture again please. Also, write water parameters, tank size, and when you noticed the red streaks

My Yellow Tang also had some light redness on the sides at times it would come and go. That tang is a few years old and still going strong. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Check this thread out. Near the bottom is a picture of a yellow tang with redness. Is that what it looks like?

yes I had just added some water to tank so maybe its a bit off also lost a 3 stripe damsel which a hermit crab had been eating on it so I removed dead fish and will watch water conditions
